Things students and parents ask us.
No — all sessions run online over video. This lets us work with students anywhere and makes scheduling easier around classes and labs. You'll need a laptop or tablet with a working camera and microphone, plus a stable internet connection.
Payment is handled per session through our booking system. We accept all major credit cards. For students booking weekly, we offer 4-session and 8-session packages at a small discount.
Yes. When you inquire, tell us the course name, your school, and your textbook. We'll match you with an instructor familiar with that material so the first session doesn't get spent figuring out which conventions your professor uses.
You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before a session for a full refund or credit. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged the session fee, since your instructor has set aside that time.
Every instructor holds an advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in their subject and has taught at the college level. We personally interview every instructor and watch them teach before they meet a student. We say no to the majority of tutors who apply.
