High School Math Tutoring
Algebra, geometry, precalculus, or preparing for AP Calculus. We find the gap underneath the hard problem and build from there.

- Struggling with algebra, geometry, or precalculus
- Preparing for AP Calculus AB or BC
- Wanting to improve your grade or test score
- Working through course content that did not stick the first time
- Getting ready for college-level math
What students bring to a session
You do not need to have it figured out. Bring:
- Homework or test problems that confused you
- The specific moment you got lost (not just "I do not get it")
- Your class notes or textbook pages so we can see what was taught
- Your actual exam scores or graded assignments
Common sticking points we solve
Algebra: fractions, factoring, or solving equations feel disconnected
Geometry: proof writing; understanding why a statement is true versus just stating it
Precalculus: functions, transformations, and trig identities layered too fast
The jump from algebra to precalculus or precalculus to calculus
Knowing the rule versus knowing when and why to use it
How we teach it
- 01We look for the gap underneath. A precalculus student stuck on functions usually has an algebra gap; we trace it back rather than repeating the same lesson more slowly.
- 02Ideas before rules. A rule without the idea behind it fails the moment the problem looks slightly different from the one you practised.
- 03We work from your actual course and textbook, so the first session is not spent working out which conventions your teacher uses.
- 04The same person every session, so nobody has to be re-briefed on what is already working.
